In August 2022, the unique McLaren Elva appeared at Mecum’s Monterey 2022 event and this is not the first time the supercar has been offered for sale. At the time of sale, the McLaren Elva only had 132 km on the odometer and the price to own this supercar was 2.1 million USD; unfortunately, it still did not reach the seller’s starting price.
It is known that the McLaren Elva auctioned has serial number 122/149 cars produced. Notably, the entire car is hand-assembled at the McLaren factory in Surrey, England.
The car in question has now covered 90 miles (145 km), and has been virtually unused since its auction in August 2022. For this super speedster, the new owner will also receive a pair of Bell helmets, a designer leather bag, Magnum Gatorz goggles, and a congratulatory letter from former McLaren CEO Mike Flewitt.
The McLaren Elva is a supercar with a 4-no concept, including no windshield. However, in some countries, McLaren has added a fixed windshield to the Elva to comply with safety regulations.

The horizontal LED taillights have been tweaked to bring them in line with many GT and Artura models. The quad exhausts that were first seen on the 750S recently make their way to the Elva.

McLaren Elva is equipped with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine code M840TR, producing 815 horsepower and maximum torque of 800 Nm. Combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. McLaren Elva is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 326 km/h.
This McLaren Elva MSO is expected to be present at Mecum’s 2023 Indy auction. According to experts, this car will be sold for an estimated price of 1.7 – 2 million USD, which means it will be 700,000 USD lower than before.
What makes this Elva special is that it’s painted in Pacific Color Stream, a complex metallic gradient paint that includes bright red, purple, and blue tones. This paint is optional and costs a whopping $37,898. Another highlight of the supercar’s exterior is the purple brake calipers, which cost $4,950.
The interior of this “chameleon” McLaren Elva has many carbon-wrapped details, combined with the center console area painted the same color as the exterior. The seats are upholstered in black leather, combined with contrasting purple stitching.
