Coach Arteta has frankly stated that Messi has several qualities to become the best player of all time.
The debate over whether Ronaldo or Messi is better will probably last for many more years. As for coach Arteta’s opinion, he chooses Messi.
The Arsenal captain told Sky Sports: “Of course, the best player has to be Messi. My three sons also have the same opinion. We are very lucky to witness the competition of the best player of all time over the years.”
“It’s all true even when I compare Messi with other names like Ronaldo or Pelé. Messi has a huge difference compared to the rest.”
Coach Arteta seems to be a big fan of Messi
When he was still in football, coach Arteta had never faced Messi. He recently came up against Ronaldo in several matches between Everton and MU.
As for Ronaldo, he is in the final stage of his career and is happy to contribute to Al Nassr. However, the Portuguese striker still wants to break records. Currently, CR7 dreams of reaching 1,000 goals in his career. He is still 98 goals away from that super record.
Ronaldo still needs one more World Cup to complete his trophy collection. It is very difficult for CR7 to achieve it, but the superstar born in 1985 is still determined to attend the 2026 World Cup to continue his dream.
As for Al Nassr, Ronaldo is still trying to find his first major title. It seems that conquering glory in Saudi Arabia is much more difficult than when CR7 was still in Europe.
If we look at Messi, he has earned all the glory. He enjoyed the end of his career contributing to Inter Miami. But like Ronaldo, it is unclear when “El Pulga” will officially retire.
