Not only sold only in Japan, the ‘monochrome’ Bentley Continental GT version is also only sold in a limited number of 10 units.
Just a few days after the launch of the Continental GT Convertible Speed, Bentley continued to reveal a new version of the Continental GT called V8 Equinox Edition sold only in Japan with a limit of 10 units. It is known that the Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition is exclusively designed by Bentley’s Mulliner team and will only be available in 6 cities: Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Hiroshima and Yokohama.
The car is based on a monochromatic color scheme with 3 subtle colors black, silver and white. Inside, the interior is covered in Onyx black or Glacier white upholstery with a contrasting character line running along the side.
On the exterior, many parts of the Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition are made from glossy black carbon fiber such as the front splitter, rear diffuser, spoiler edge and side door trim. These parts have many painted details and it takes up to 5 days to complete for each car.
The 22-inch wheels are finished with metallic black Tungsten paint, further enhancing the glamor of this super luxurious 2-door coupé.
The “monochrome” style is also reflected in the car’s interior with silver accents on the headrests and seat edge panels. Premium silver stitching also appears on the seats and steering wheel. The dashboard appears with 2 layers of Moonbeam and Grand Black, giving it a luxurious and gorgeous look.
Bentley Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 542 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
Bentley has not yet announced the price for this car, but it will certainly be much higher than the standard version with a listed price of 202,500 USD in the US market.
