The Norwegian tuner has optimized the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo’s power and named it “Zyrus LP1200 Strada” with a limited production of only 9 units worldwide. With tweaks and upgrades, the LP1200 Strada is a road-going racing car that produces 1,200 horsepower, double the original power.
The Zyrus LP1200 Strada by the famous Norwegian tuner Zyrus Engineering is based on the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo platform – a race car with a 5.2L V10 engine producing 620 horsepower.
In the hands of Zyrus Engineering, the Huracan Super Trofeo has almost doubled its original power to 1200 horsepower in Corsa mode. After more than 6000 km of testing this model, the brand decided to develop a street version of this model with many modern improvements.
To increase the performance of the Zyrus LP1200 Strada, engineers have changed and upgraded the control software, twin turbochargers, Inconel exhaust…
The total distance that the Zyrus LP1200 Strada has traveled so far is nearly 18,000 km and this modified supercar completed the Nurburgring race in 6 minutes 48 seconds, about 13 seconds slower than the fastest Mercedes-AMG ONE car.
The exterior of the Zyrus LP1200 Strada is sporty and aerodynamic. The body of the car is made from lightweight materials and is easy to disassemble. The body is widened to add air vents in the front.
In particular, the car’s hood has two large air vents similar to those on the Huracan Super Trofeo.
The Zyrus LP1200 Strada is equipped with a set of 5-spoke sports rims, measuring 19 inches at the front axle and 20 inches at the rear axle. The brake discs are made of carbon-ceramic material. Along with that is the Ohlins TTX adjustable suspension system, with a pneumatic lift function.
The rear aerodynamic wing has been tweaked to resemble sports cars like the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series or Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
The interior of the Zyrus LP1200 Strada is equipped with just enough convenient features such as an 8.4-inch touch screen, a phone holder for Smartdash function, air conditioning… There are also parking sensors, a rear camera…
The LP1200 Strada’s bucket racing seats are made from carbon fiber, covered in Alcantara, and feature a 4-point OMP seat belt system. The car also has FIA-standard safety equipment with a “Lifeline” fire suppression system, a titanium alloy roll cage, etc.
The starting price of the Zyrus LP1200 Strada is around 941,000 USD with a limited quantity of 9 units. It is known that the first owner of the LP1200 Strada is a customer in Germany.
