Lionel Messi is making the most of the summer with his stunning wife, Antonela.
The couple were spotted posing for photos with their three sons, Thiago, Matteo and Ciro, as they relaxed on a luxury boat.
The 37-year-old sported a pair of black swim shorts as he hugged his young family. Antonela, meanwhile, dazzled in a pink floral print bikini, while the footballer’s children wore colourful swim shorts.
“Summer and them,” they wrote in the post, which was shared jointly by the couple on Instagram. “Beautiful family,” commented one fan.
Another added, “So cute,” while hundreds of others left heart emojis.
The Inter Miami star will face an indefinite spell on the sidelines after damaging ligaments in his ankle during the Copa America final earlier this summer.
Argentina beat Colombia in the final thanks to Lautaro Martínez’s goal in extra time.
However, Messi was forced off in the second half of regular time after suffering a serious ankle injury.
The Argentine captain collapsed in the 64th minute and needed prolonged treatment as he immediately looked towards the bench, before shedding tears as he walked off the field in pain.
He did not join his team-mates when they returned to a jubilant Buenos Aires, where fans flooded the streets to celebrate in wild scenes.
But the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner took to social media to insist he was “fine” and thanked fans for their support.
“The Copa America is over and the first thing I want to do is thank everyone for their messages and greetings,” he said in a statement.
“I am fine, thank God, and I hope to be able to return to the field soon to enjoy what I like to do most. I am happy, very happy, especially because we achieved the objective we had and Fide (Ángel Di María) is leaving but with another Cup.”
Messi is now looking to defend Inter Miami’s Leagues Cup title and is expected to be on hand to support his side when they face Columbus Crew in the round of 16 on Tuesday.
