Recently, Indonesian photographer Yan Hidayatyan, 43 years old, had a trip to explore the wild nature in the Padang jungle in West Sumatra, Indonesia and captured magical images of an extremely rare blue snake. .
Not only that, the scene was as interesting and strange as a fairy tale when the blue snake did not appear alone, on its head was a fat mantis, looking very leisurely, calm, like like the two have known each other for a long time.
Photographer Yan Hidayatyan shared that this strange snake does not have the usual gray-brown color typical of the species, but possesses a beautiful iridescent blue color like the blue of a peacock.
Its body is extremely soft, gracefully wrapped around the dry tree trunk. However, the snake also reveals its danger when it sticks out its tongue, a sign of death when searching for prey, scaring many people.
According to research, the blue snake is also known as the blue-blooded snake, which is one of the variations of the tree snake and is not poisonous. The green-blooded snake is also considered an unusually rare mutant snake, once found in the rain forests of Indonesia, New Guinea and Australia.
Since birth, the bodies of these extremely rare snakes have been covered with eye-catching blue spots. These blue spots will become more numerous and expand after a molt, eventually making the snake’s entire body an impressive blue color, extremely beautiful and strange.
