The way to the hospital is probably enough to make the majority of people weak in the knees, but Mahe has also been helpful in other contexts. Since they became best friends two and a half years ago, the dog that was trained by the Assistance Dogs New Zealand Trust helps keep James calm during all of the various outings they go on together.
